They are charging him with insurrection. The penalty for that is death. Why would he legalize firing squads for his own death? It doesn’t add up. He also said “the best is yet to come”. I wonder what that could possibly mean.

The best realistic outcome I'll buy into right now is a new political party rising from the ashes of the burning dumpster fire that is the Republican party.
A new party is a dead end. It will only help the Dems. We need to take over the Republican party.
With so many republicans swimming in the swamp and kissing Biden's butt I suspect that party will extinguish itself. I'll take either option though.
