Trump was the populist pragmatist we needed at the time. He could fight too, but now we need a warrior that takes no prisoners as our next candidate. He could have been that warrior if he wanted though, and that's sadly the biggest let down. But I can understand why he did and didn't do things.
I think his only strategy left is based around letting people see for themselves what the left have become. We got to see that for 8 years under Obama, but under Trump, the left exploded with vile hate. So after 4 years of Biden, people will be standing up harder than ever against the left. Sometimes you have to go through some pain to show what hurts. And Biden is definitely going to bring the pain, make a fool of himself, misstep left and right, and leave office with this country being far worse off.
And the media is realizing they are now no longer relevant. Without Trump to rail against, they are nothing. There's more views on videogame channels than CBS/CNN/NBC/ABC combined. And since their only role now is to circle jerk Biden for the next 4 years, there's no glory or even opportunity in their field of work anymore. No more loaded 'gotcha' questions to get 15 minutes of fame. No more attacking policies. All they can effectively do is read whatever Biden tells them to say, which won't really attract anyone, not even the left.
So what we will have for the next 4 years is a lot of constitutional violations, a lot of pilfering of American wealth, a lot of crushing of the middle class, and a mundane silent media not reporting on any of it. Sure, they'll make some small critiques of Biden for show, but let's not forget, they created a system of de-platforming. So they have basically painted themselves in a corner where they can't even pretend to create controversy for clicks, because it will only end up with calls against them to be de-platformed. They have to pretend all is well in Biden land after all, and that's not the kind of stuff conducive to clicks and views.
Now all the left can do is eat themselves. Go after their own people for not being woke enough. Go after their own people for not shilling enough. All as their own people realize that Biden has done them no favors. They own everything now, and as such, own all the blame now too. If they don't do this or that, or do this or that which enrages people, they won't have conservatives to blame, because conservatives have no power to stand in their way right now.
So the media can only sit there and twiddle their thumbs for the next 4 years while watching their ratings plummet and their studio's downsized due to lack of interest due to lack of covering anything Biden does wrong. And that's going to put a lot of the shills out of work. They're going to realize they were used and disposed of and no longer have a voice. They're going to see tens of millions of illegals given citizenship, while they're out of the job. That type of red pill comes in suppository form.
Trump gave us more than he initially promised, got farther than he ever should have. But the left played dirty, soo dirty that they violated the founding principles of this country to steal it. What he showed us is the face behind the mask of the left. He showed their true form and just how far they are willing to go and how dirty they are willing to play to get there.
One of the biggest mistakes Democrats made, is not putting down and arresting every single one of the rioters they had rioting for them. Now those people are militarized, never getting what they were promised, and in the wind. That will come back to bite them in the ass hard when these people turn on them.
