I agree. With the story that McConnell threatened him. He has to pardon Assange or be seen as caving in at the end forever. He should still make a phone call and do it.

Yep, he was basically just a showman who loved his country. But he wasn't the superhero or Founding Father type patriot we thought he was. When shit got real, he cucked out immediately. I still appreciate what he did as President, but just a disappointing ending. Went out with a whimper instead of a bang.

Such a bummer. He could have went down in the history books as a legend, like George Washington. He could have drained the swamp and restored America to decades or a century of glory. He could have crossed the Rubicon and saved freedom and liberty for generations. But instead, like you indicated, said "this is too scary, I can't handle it" and decided to sell us all out to a hostile, foreign-controlled coup and throw all his accomplishments in the trash and enslave all his supporters to life in an authoritarian banana republic.

He’s definitely going out on a whimper.

Trump should no better at this point than to trust or listen to McConnell. I know that McConnell threatened him with indictments if he did, but he's still going to get indicted no matter what he does. Trump cucked out. Thought he had more balls than that but something seriously changed him on the 6th.

After what just happened on the 6th, why would he listen to turtle?
