Political beliefs aren’t a protected class. However, tortious interference is a legal avenue that might be able to be pursued. Also depending on what was said about the ladies business libel might be able to be used for a lawsuit as well. I also agree we have to start suing more. I hate being litigious but we have to fight.
It is protected. It's not even a civil suit. It's a felony under criminal law. You can go to prison for it.
