My guess is that some very, very bad people have held something over him. Maybe threats to his family or some sort of horrible incident that would then be blamed on him personally using the corrupt media. Whatever it is, his behavior certainly has changed.
Maybe he and his family were threatened, maybe he does not want his supporters lashing out and getting themselves hurt by asking them to continue to fight, maybe he's just fucking sick of it and knows the swamp is too big to get anything done in a second term.
Perhaps the truth is every branch of our government is too compromised and he finally saw the writing on the wall. He thought he could win, but he underestimated their depravity. They blatantly stole an election and they don't care that anyone with a brain knows it. They own state legislators, congress , SCOTUS, the FBI and the CIA.
Maybe the International powers that have run the world for centuries are sick of his shit and want him gone. MAGA was an unstoppable force a mere year ago, well the globalists can't have that , so they used their unlimited resources and spheres of influence to stop him. They will let him have his media empire , but MAGA must be completely marginalized, demonized and demoralized. They are about to usher in a world wide technocratic totalitarian regime and they don't need people getting any ideas about national sovereignty and populism
