I disagree, the conservatives issue is that they are obsessed with being the #1 best behaved citizen. Ironically that works great with the CCP's social credit score system so in a sense CCP take over is great for those types. You can get AMAZING social credit score in China by following all the rules and doing whatever the government tells you to do.
All I'm saying is, if we want our rules or laws to mean anything, we are going to have to abide. What we currently lack is an enforcement of accountability, but that has nothing to do with being a good/bad citizen. That has everything to do with how corrupt our representatives are.
It is arguable that we are not being good citizens by not researching upcoming representatives and holding them more accountable through elections, but elections do not seem to be the answer anymore. The military really is our only hope at this point for enforcing the constitution.
I don't see why you are expecting people that aren't crazy about Trump to act like fan girls over him just to follow the rules though. You got allies here that are legitimately upset by Trump's recent actions. They aren't crazy about Trump right now but they agree with all your principles and ideas. You can ban them and they will just have no place to talk, is that what you want? I don't think it's right to assume there is no grey area in between with how things have gone and it is true that there's literally no where else to talk.
I think really comes down to conflict of expectations, like what you alluded to. Many pedes have come to view T_D as more of a home than a rally, and I completely understand that.
A lot of people don't have an outlet for their frustrations or despair and are using T_D to express those feelings.
This isn't my job since I'm not a mod, but I feel like this issue should have been addressed earlier, like around Jan. 6th, when these two different expectations butted heads.
Yea I agree entirely with that. Unfortunately I think that's going to become a huge problem here as long as the site is expected to be a constant Rally. It's going to become a divisive rule that will alienate a lot of likeminded people with no where to go.
Change must come for this community. Maybe we become a neverending MAGA rally and only posts from MAGA supporters are allowed. Keep the name always as a Testament to the real Donald Trump. None of us know what Trump is going to do next, but if he hangs it up for self-protection and for his family, I can't blame him. I hope he continues to fight, but he's only human. He's not our messiah (Jesus is). Just like the Q folks, we have to come to this realization. If he doesn't lead the movement, then we can't let it die. We must find a way to move forward and fight for our children's future without our greatest President.
