Ignoring rules to voice despair only lowers morale and feeds mental casualties. I completely understand a one-off doom post, but we've got to lead by example.
If we can't follow our own rules, why are we upset that our constitution wasn't being followed during the election?
I disagree, the conservatives issue is that they are obsessed with being the #1 best behaved citizen. Ironically that works great with the CCP's social credit score system so in a sense CCP take over is great for those types. You can get AMAZING social credit score in China by following all the rules and doing whatever the government tells you to do.
All I'm saying is, if we want our rules or laws to mean anything, we are going to have to abide. What we currently lack is an enforcement of accountability, but that has nothing to do with being a good/bad citizen. That has everything to do with how corrupt our representatives are.
It is arguable that we are not being good citizens by not researching upcoming representatives and holding them more accountable through elections, but elections do not seem to be the answer anymore. The military really is our only hope at this point for enforcing the constitution.
I don't see why you are expecting people that aren't crazy about Trump to act like fan girls over him just to follow the rules though. You got allies here that are legitimately upset by Trump's recent actions. They aren't crazy about Trump right now but they agree with all your principles and ideas. You can ban them and they will just have no place to talk, is that what you want? I don't think it's right to assume there is no grey area in between with how things have gone and it is true that there's literally no where else to talk.
