Welcome to the first day of the American Empire.

Rome did not grow after she allowed dictators to run her. Her people grew poorer, more decadent; her politicians grew more corrupt, the military and oligarchs hand picked the emperors who would get on their knees for them, and the general populace was too placated with free bread from bread lines and circuses to bother caring

While this is somewhat true, Rome thrived far more under a monarchy then it did a republic. Republics will and have always grown corrupt. Maybe it’s time for a monarchy, our vote is no more than a illusion of “democracy”.

The country must fall before it can be saved.
