When Trump rallied the people to deny the witch her throne in 2016 and kicked the hornet's nest that is the Establishment, he had the responsibility to see it through to the end and never relent. Instead he called his supporters violent thugs and backtracks and let them waltz right into office (assuming nothing happens today. As I said, I'd be happy to be wrong).
If anything the situation now (again, if Xiden takes office) is even worse than if Hillary took it in 2016. Because before they viewed us as dumb hillbillies (at worst, "deplorables"). Now they view us as monsters/terrorists and enemies to be purged. And they have taken control of every level of government.
But sure, keep thanking the person responsible when you get shoved into a gulag.
