I was faithful for 35 years. Every time the doors opened to vote, I was there voting straight ticket Republican. And although my donations weren't massive, they were sacrificial. No more! On Jan 6, I went online and changed my voter registration from Republican to unaffiliated. Also, I've unsubscribed from their emails several times. The assholes aren't very organized apparently. Now it's time to think about me. I care about my family and what I can do for their provision, protection, and pursuit of happiness.

For what? Honestly, I am not being a dick about it.....but your going to change your party and vote again? Our vote doesn't matter. I am sick and tired of people telling me "start local" and "well just make our own party." If Donald Trump leaves and Joe Biden is sworn in, it's fucking over. Our vote will NEVER EVER mean a single thing. If you thought Obama was bad, this is going to be 10000x worse. 0% chance a Republican/MAGA Party candidate EVER steps foot in office again. They will make sure Donald Trump WILL NEVER happen again.
Not only that but we all watched the Republicans actively fuck Trump over.
We watched people Trump fought for and stood by to get chosen to become judges on the Supreme Court back stab him at his most critical time.
We watched foreign leaders who we thought were Trump allies welcome in Biden and act like there were no issues whatsoever in the US election.
At this point, fuck it all.
Why even register as anything?
Just ask to be removed from the voting process altogether.
I'm doing it to send a message and spite the GOP. Fuck them. They are ultimately responsible for the destruction of this country.
I hear ya man, but it's not doing a single thing. You think swamp rat fucks like Mitch Mcconnell or Lindsey Graham care that you left the GOP? They sit at a private bar and mix cocktails laughing at people like you and I "who switched" parties. These people can give two shits what your party affiliation is nor what you did. The voting system is rigged to put whoever is supporting China in it. That's it.
