Those prices are crazy....my local prices have gone from 1.81 to 2.2- in the last week...I Know OPs post is hyperbole but its not false....as soon as Biden announced he was cancelling the Keystone line gas prices jumped 30 cents overnight.
Since I work with these things daily. Please enlighten me what will happen to the price of Oil if we turn off the Keystone XL Pipeline and Ban fracking ?
I don't have any knowledge of the oil industry....all I know is the minute Biden said he would cut off that line, gas prices in my town jumped 30 cents immediately.
Edit: also, you're all over this thread screaming about gas prices going up, why are you singling me out for saying gas prices have already gone up?

What if the oil industries want the prices to go up? They know they are on their way out due to electric vehicles and need to squeeze every last penny before gas is obsolete. Just a thought......

Mine actually dropped by 20 cents.
Local markets do local market things. I'd start crying wolf when it goes up 50 cents in your area because perhaps, by then, all will have gone up.
