Meh, I'm very, extremely, cautiously hoping it won't be as bad as I feared at first. I remember when Obama took over and undid everything Bush did, which on the EO side of things was pretty slim, but Obama did conduct a sweeping judicial purge to place his own judges. Things didn't turn out great, by any stretch of the imagination, but the country didn't fall.
We don't have to be alright with this, but I do think we need to take a few days, weeks, or maybe months, (unless Pedo-Joe works faster than I expect him to) and take a deep breath. We can't just react to this before the breaking point. It's going to take a lot of pissed off people being pissed off together before we can do something about this, so let the current carry you for a little bit, and have fun. Read a book, watch some movies, or play a video game. I'm not alright with the blatant fraud in the slightest, but at this point all I can do is see how it plays out and make my decisions from there. To that end, I started playing Nioh 2 again yesterday. I'll set it aside if my buddies decide we're playing Minecraft instead, but for the being there's nothing I can do (more or less on my own) to change anything, so all I can do is accept that this is the world we have to live in for the time being.
The absolute worst thing we can do, in my mind, is let this destroy us. I'm not a religious man, so I believe we have this one shot at life to make of it whatever we will. Even if you are religious, and you believe there is something better after this, you still just have one shot at life before moving on to something greater, or returning in another form if reincarnation is your thing. For my part, I'll be damned if I'm going to let myself sink to the bottom because of this shit. Maybe the biggest "fuck you" we can give the leftists is to find happiness in dark days while we wait for people to get fed up.
I don't know, but I'm going to find things which make me smile, and do those things. Because I'm not going to give the fucking commie bastards the satisfaction of ruining my life. One shot, and that's my belief. I don't have much, but I'm going to find my solace in the things and the people I do have. And if the time comes that we have to set those things aside and stand up, I swear I'll be there with you all.
