The commies played a long game over decades. They subverted the media, the culture and ultimately the government. You don't take it back by playing a long game to catch up, that's suicide. We're trying to fix this problem backasswards. You don't solve it at the government level, you first gain control of the media which then allows you to shift the culture. That then leads to taking back your government, at this point, most likely by force. But as long as the boots on the ground outmatch conservatives not just in physical numbers but by a system of accomplices, no amount political maneuvers will resolve this. The cancer is nearly terminal and the patient refuses to accept that drastic measures are needed to stop it before it does become terminal.
