Third party is what is needed. They (GOP) had the chance to MAGA and chose the swamp. Trump's first walk into politics was 3rd party.

I would support a third party if Trump started it, but we have to be careful not to end up like Teddy Roosevelt and the Progressive Party.

We cant do shit with the congress we have had so that point is moot. GOP has no status. Dems are importing their votes illegally. Mondale/Ferraro "why are we losing you" shout out from crowd - Because You dont work for us. Trump earned my vote. I hated the man. I did not buy into theDonald image of the 80s/90s. While not perfect, I do not regret voting for him. He was/is the Best Person for the Job. The GOP has not earned my vote this last four years. Are there people who have, YES and it was due to their going against the 'party' and working for 'the people'.

This will already be the case for Republicans.

alfredbester 5 points ago +5 / -0

Nobody said fighting for freedom would be easy or safe. There were lines to enlist after Pearl Harbor and now people are afraid to join a political party to fight the likes of Joe Sniffy Biden and Cum guzzling Harris? Sack up, soldier!

JaneMN 2 points ago +2 / -0

I am not a republican. I am an independent due to the inconsistancy of what is preached from the podium and what is done at the office

35
Testosteroneape2000 35 points ago +36 / -1

The party is beyond reform.

35
Nunya__Biznus 35 points ago +35 / -0

No. The GOP cannot be "taken back." In case you haven't noticed, we can't even take our country back with a landslide election.

The ONLY solution is to turn our backs on the GOP like Fox News. Send the GOP into a distant third place overnight, then into oblivion.

9
mintscape 9 points ago +10 / -1

Exactly.

We actually do have the power to kill the GOP, it's one of the few things we can realistically do.

We can meme a 3rd party to destroy the GOP.

3
Madnote1984 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yep, no one will run as a Republican if they can't get the money. If we can establish a competitive 3rd party, the GOP will be forced into change or risk folding. Besides, we can run patriot party candidates in primaries and if they get house seats they will caucus with Republicans. Its not like it helps the dems in the house or senate if we have two "conservative" parties. They will vote together or key issues. And slowly, we replace weak GOP seats. Of course, this is all dependent on votes that actually matter...so there's that.

2
Nunya__Biznus 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly - if they caucus as one, but with OUR intent driving it instead of GOPe intent driving it, that's a WIN.

2
Commence 2 points ago +2 / -0

It sends all the right messages as well, it makes it clear that we are here to stay. If we can't crush the GOP we sure ass hell wont be able to destroy the democrats.

24
deathtrap 24 points ago +24 / -0

We need more competition and choices with our votes. Too easy for Dems and Rinos to play lets make a deal.

2
TexasVet 2 points ago +2 / -0

Who gives a fuck how many party choices we have when they will just steal all future elections. Unless we fix voting nothing else matters.

Bitch McConnels PR team doing hard work on td.win.

FUCK YOUR REPUBLICAN PARTY

PATRIOT PARTY, ENGAGE!

7
mintscape 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yes sir, I've deported a few already trying to tell people they need to come back to the corrupt Republican party.

Very clear the Republicans have done what Fox did and have sent their shills here, I pray we have more pedes like you that see through it.

3
Xysten 3 points ago +3 / -0

The greatest thing trump ever did was shine nonrepudiatable light on these scumbags. We see them with ZERO question now.

3
mintscape 3 points ago +3 / -0

100%, that was his greatest achievement, I knew thing were bad before Trump which is why I supported him but I didn't expect it was anything close to what we have seen. The corruption in the system is really as bad as a 3rd world country.

The genius thing about Trump is he didn't just tell us, he made the corrupt bastards reveal it themselves.

3
alfredbester 3 points ago +3 / -0

Never voting Republican again.

3
TexasVet 3 points ago +3 / -0

GOP is a relic

17
MyAuntFanny 17 points ago +17 / -0

Traditional 3rd Party, I'd agree. But we are talking about the MAGA movement. traditional rules barely apply when President Trump is involved. I'm in.

6
Pepega 6 points ago +6 / -0

With a true unified goal and leader i could see this wave being big enough to matter. To form a party to compete on the national level.

But I'm still unsure, OP's angle is still how i feel it will be easiest... not that a third party can't be done.

10
MyAuntFanny 10 points ago +10 / -0

The market for a new 3rd party is bigger than left and right, where the GOP's appeal is confined to traditional right. The Walk Aways are evidence that there is dissatisfaction on both sides. If we leave the GOP behind we can draw out the good people on the left who would never think of considering a Republican candidate.

The GOP is dead.

There are too many swamp monsters for average joe's to weed out.

8
ravioli_king 8 points ago +11 / -3

Agreed. I'd much rather the old GOP age out and get replaced with people who call out BS and stand up for those they represent. No more surrender caucus.

7
geotus3000 7 points ago +7 / -0

That's what we just did for the last four years. Turns out, they're too corrupt to save.

6
CandyBarr 6 points ago +6 / -0

Give up the ship?

Fuck the Republicans. That shit hasn't been any good since the 80s

Kill it with fire

6
Soferio 6 points ago +6 / -0

Voting doesn't matter.

5
throwaway777 5 points ago +5 / -0

It has been the Dems and GOP for the entire history, there always comes a time when the party needs to Die. Trump is one of the few who could pull this off and in time, the GOP might cease to exist and it's just the Patriot Party

Start locally. Get overwhelming pressure to remove voting machines.

Texas and Florida did it. No excuses.

5
WishdoctorsSong 5 points ago +5 / -0

We've had a two-party system since the beginning, but rarely one of those parties is replaced with a new one. This is one of those times.

Traditional third parties like libertarian, constitutionalists, socialist workers, are just fringe movements. This would be a third party of 80 million Trump supporters who were actively thrown out of the GOP.

This would very quickly become the second party leaving the corpse of the GOP a distant third.

3
alfredbester 3 points ago +3 / -0

Fuck yes.

I_Love_45-70_Gov 5 points ago +5 / -0

Nice try Ronna, you stinking commie twat.

The GOP will never see another penny from me again. They can Grift $$ from their communist (D) party buddies.

GOP has too many rules in place. I think Pence was the choice due to some bullshit RNC rule. Its like being in a home owners association that wont let you fly the American flag.

4
Sugz_Da_Bear 4 points ago +5 / -1

Gotta fix the voting problem or NOTHING!!!

4
Avenatti2020 4 points ago +4 / -0

The problem with the GOP is that every time we think we are getting in a conservative or MAGA person, they get absorbed by the load of shit that is the GOP.

Kinsinger and Amash rode the tea party wave and look at them now? A cleanse is even less likely than starting over.

3
Truthdose 3 points ago +4 / -1

Shut up.

The party should have collapsed after 2004 and a new kind of republican born.

Conservatives have a had a willing toxic relationship with their party and have only themselves to blame for the snakes they let in.

It is time for the party to collapse

3
OneBigMaga 3 points ago +3 / -0

Everything about the gop is corrupt. They need to be buried and forgotten.

3
mintscape 3 points ago +3 / -0

I suggest you follow what the left and the Democrats have been doing, the actual left have tried that shit since the fucking 1960s, it doesn't work. Look who the "progressives" have now, two Neocon warmongers.

A 3rd party would shake things up.

Look at how that worked for Brexit in the UK, without the threat of Farage's party, Brexit would have never happened.

3
Clayton29 3 points ago +3 / -0

I think you need a 3rd party to splinter off and label the GOP racist and not inclusive and right wing. You have to get the message out fast before they call us right wing racist. The party would have to have a moderate name. There would have to be a lot of secrecy to begin so the media couldn't quash us before we began. I have no idea how you would even do it.

2
mintscape 2 points ago +2 / -0

Good news, the media went all out doing that with Trump, his approval was huge and he got a landslide victory in the election they stole.

In the UK, the media tried all that with Brexit, Brexit still won. The threat of a 3rd party in the last UK election meant Brexit actually happened also.

The massive vote for Trump shows people are sick and tired of the corrupt two parties we have now, a 3rd party would do well.

3

Burn down the RepubliCON party. Every single traitor. 🔥

2
Commence 2 points ago +2 / -0

Destroying the GOP is what needs to happen, they betrayed us, we need to set the precedent to what happens when you betray the people.

We were to naive and too patient whit the Republican Party leadership and all the traitors we had in the open. You don't see anything like that from the Democrats, they play to win even if they all hate each other.

In 1994 we took the party back during the Gingrich revolution

In 2010 we took the party back during the Tea Party

In 2016 we took the party back with MAGA

Are we just going to "take the party back" every decade when our young, idealistic representatives turn swamp?

2
BetsyFreedom85 2 points ago +2 / -0

I no longer even consider myself a slow-moving “conservative” bent on “conserving” the nation. I get the original intent but radical times call for new ideas. Patriot Party, aligned with the constitution and taking back our country AS INTENDED by the founding fathers. Rejection of wokeism. Party of innovation, science, art, history, technology. Free speech that offends. Freedom to practice religion. Rejection of statism and oppressive government. Rejection of fraudulent and confusing vote counting. IT BEGINS TODAY WITH US!!!

2
TexasVet 2 points ago +2 / -0

Oh for fucks sake people.... VOTING DOESN'T MATTER ANYMORE!

2
Hugh 2 points ago +2 / -0

If only the founders had been smart enough to develop this strategy. Could've avoided that whole war thing.

1
kd5ywa 1 point ago +1 / -0

Look at this. Thinking what was taken by force can be made whole again without an equal response. We refuse to follow the example left for us from our founders. We're unworthy to be called Americans.

Crusoe1960 1 point ago +3 / -2

Agree that splitting the GOP vote will serve only to ensure Democratic control through and beyond the mid terms.

A new party only works if the Dems also fracture; right now, AOC, etc. do not have enough power to pull this off.

Grassroots reform to change the existing GOP coalition is absolutely the way to go.

Look at us - conservatives (some compassionate, some not), evangelicals, gun rights advocates, nationalists, protectionists, conspiracy theorists, etc. A big tent with lots of voices to be heard.

As a

6
Nunya__Biznus 6 points ago +7 / -1

Elections don't matter any more. Split or not, we'll never win an election of consequence again. Just kill off the GOP so they understand what they did.

2
Commence 2 points ago +2 / -0

Do you think the GOP will win any election any time soon? We might as well start fresh with a solid foundation.

No sane person would vote GOP if there was a MAGA candidate.

Lack of institutional power was our downfall, we have the numbers to have our own thing going on.

-2
Cyber1776 -2 points ago +1 / -3

Exactly, I say this all the time in any thread I see even hinting at starting a third party. I've been seeing some really REALLY stupid and self destructive advice on this website that is very curious. There have already been a few threads suggesting that we (the right/populist ect) give up any and all influence we have in the military by suggesting younger people considering those careers not join or that those already in get out as soon as possible.

I do take solice in the fact that this third party shit is typical all talk no action facebook boomer shit. Just continue to mock these people and keep pushing forward with our take over of the GOP.

-4
leet23 -4 points ago +2 / -6

A 3rd party only benefits the dems because you have old school republicans who will vote for them no matter what leaving less voters for the new party

6
Clayton29 6 points ago +6 / -0

Until people got fed up and started voting them out. If 3rd party stood for what is right people would eventually start voting for them. It won't happen over night but it could help in the long game.

3
Commence 3 points ago +3 / -0

That way once you actually win, if you did it right along the way you get a real win and not an illusory one.
