It looks like Texas has most of what they would need, but would a state like Montana have the necessary resources to sustain themselves? Are there any limitations on what types of crops can be grown there? Would they be cut off from the remaining states in the US, in terms of goods and services? What about military defenses? If a state seceded you can bet my ass will be there, but I wonder about these things.
