Much of the States is. As a Dutchman, and I used to be afraid of saying this as it sounds offensive, I avoided the USA most of my life despite being incredibly attracted to its nature.. as a result of its politics and broken society.
I grew up in the 80's and 90's, so I never understood what America once was, not until Trump became president, then suddenly a new light shone on it. I hope it does again, in the future..
If Texas tried to succeed, the US would go to war to keep that from happening. We would have a fight on our hands. Now, if 75 million voters were to come to Texas, we might have a chance.

Hopefully Texas becomes a free state and breaks off from the US.
