Or worse, they know their history but think "Oh, that'll never happen here. That happened in the past and doesn't apply anymore because current year." Or they'll say, "Oh, but Trump was like Hitler, and we're like the Allies on D-day."

History repeats. The last 200 years for us and last 90 years for the world is the unusual. Now we’re back to the norm of living under a dictator.

America won’t last forever. Better move your butt to Texas

"America will never be a socialist country! So I can dismiss any claims about the radical left as fiction... allowing America to become a socialist nation."

Far more than half. Most Trump supporters still think we'll somehow "fix" this in upcoming elections.

I've been listening to Hardcore History's Supernova in the East, and reading "Gulag Archipelago" and see lots of parallels. My fear is that "history is written by the victors", so if we let the censors and the media stand unchecked, the true narrative of the past 4 years will be memory-holed, at least for one generation.

Here is the correct big-picture narrative: https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/The-Presidents-Advisory-1776-Commission-Final-Report.pdf

One thing people can do now is create accounts to share the truth in media, even if repeatedly censored. Some of it will get through, and God willing prevent the Big Lie from lasting a generation.

You’re being nice. It’s more than half buddy. And it’s not that they don’t read history books. It’s that they are just plain fuckkng stupid. Hamsters on a treadmill. We are outnumbered.

Is there any correlation to intelligence though? I know some pretty smart left indoctrinated people and some pretty stupid Trump voters. I see a lot of hubris getting in the way of critical thinking, they have the moral high ground or so they think.

Critical thinking. Exactly. It’s what’s they most lack.

It’s worse now, there is no history in the books. History books written after WWII vs today are so different they couldn’t even be compared

Does the “history of mental illness” count
