What would that even do? Who’s to say he’d be for Trump or do what he use to knowing it’ll just put him back to square 1. People got to stop putting all their eggs in a basket.

Exactly. And he hasn't even been convicted of crimes here yet.

To me I feel like it’s a hope grasping response that’s when it came that way. People don’t think of the other side though, like what I brought up. If Assange is in a place to be pardoned, and he gets pardoned I don’t understand why people don’t think the fact that he probably never overstep and release secrets again cause why put himself in that position of shit.

I think if it was the final hour of an 8 year term he would have done so.

Hes not done yet and pardoning a man that lives off of releasing government secrets might count against him later on.

I think Assange is a good man, but he is ONE man. Trump has a country to save.

Julian Assange is a "name brand" type of character. His existence is symbolic as a "neutral necessary evil." He brings to light what has been hidden in the shadows. His confinement is symbolic to others who dare do what he has done. People are afraid of what else he might get his hands on and release. So long as he stays locked up, so to does the idea of anyone else filling his place.

That being said, I think the biggest part he really fucked himself on was aiding people on how to procure data. It wasn't all purely organic, from what I understand. Which is espionage and a tremendous no-no and I can see why he wouldn't get pardoned, but they pardoned that piece of shit Chelsea Manning, so Assange is kinda moot to be raked over the coals. And since the pardons were brought up, I think it was pretty shitty to commute Kwame Kilpatrick's sentence, he was as corrupt of a politician as it gets.

From day one, Assange had next to zero percent chance of being pardoned by GEOTUS, not because of fear or pressure as some are claiming, but because of strong beliefs. Look at the past comments GEOTUS has made and tell me he would have pardoned Assange.

As much as I wanted it to happen, I knew that it was really unlikely with him.

Yeah, I knew it wouldn’t of happened too. I think it would of led to more trouble, honestly.

Well, the democrats like to beat a dead horse so to speak. If by trouble you mean go after GEOTUS, then I don't know what more they could have done.

Are we going to have a serious discussion about what's ahead after this second sham impeachment and the 100% chance the senate 'convicts him' and what that entails? Will that lead to jail time, no matter how stupid it all is? Not being a shill, but just wondering how that all unfolds as that's never been the case in our history.

The impeachment with him out of office is likely unconstitutional. I highly doubt that 2/3rds of the Senate would vote, especially as more information has come out about Antifa and other bad actors playing a role and as they started before POTUS was even done speaking.
