Democrats control the Senate because of ballot harvesting and the incredible incompetence (or intentional sabotage) of the RINOS in Congress. Passing their annual pork bill at the same time they refused to allow Trump bux to go to the people was a slap in the face to all Americans and showed who and what the GOP establishments actually cares about. And it ain't ordinary Americans.
