I'm sorry but what Assange did was completely irresponsible. He dumped data without understanding the entirety of the documents and in doing so exposed the names of bad guys and GOOD GUYS who were feeding the US intel with local info. Some of these people were villagers and trades people. Un-redacted documents now outing these ordinary people. You think that was a good idea ? How many informants got dragged out of their homes never to be seen again? What if it was a friend of yours ?
Sure, but to me the good outweighs the bad and it silences others like him. How would I feel if it were a friend of mine? I'd do it myself that's how. I wouldn't cower and I personally don't know anyone who would. My life isn't more important than what whistleblowers do for us all.

Ppl won't even listen anymore. Just a few weeks ago I told an old friend to fk off bc he said "I don't want to know the truth." I can't deal with that breed of dumbass.
