The inventor of the QR code, who 100% did not invent the QR code. The inventor of fucking email, who never invented anything?? Generals who clearly have had some sort of mental disassociation with reality. When your hopes are high, it is easy to be taken in, but we need to make sure we are vetting our "allies." We can't be like a desperate mother wasting our fortune on every psychic, palm reader and soothsayer who claims they can find our missing baby.
Also it is a counter-productive misstatement to say that we can meme a president into existence (we definitely need to keep it high energy on the internet but it takes way more than memes). This shit takes hard boots-on-the-ground work and the deck is stacked against us. We need to take on the state legislatures to sure up election integrity, we need to promote MAGA candidates and primary the shit out of the GOP and we need to take back the house in 2022. This is going to be hard work and we need to be focused. No time for crackpots and grifters.

Let the marketplace of free speech and ideas root that garbage out without overt and outright censorship, you know, kind of like we used to do in this country, even if it was decades or even centuries ago.

I'm with you in theory, but for us here, after everything we've experienced in terms of being censored and silenced, calling for more of it is absurd. All of that obvious pie in the sky crazy conspiracy "habbening" crap is/was ridiculous, but the way to deal with it is either ignore it and/or laugh it out the door.

attention seeking. Imagine I can say something and then instantly get an audience of hundreds of thousands, and the more crazy shit i say the more my audience grows. The issue with the election is that after it was over it was too late to organize a legal fight. It didn't help that every serious law firm refused to sign on for political reasons. This scramble to challenge the election left us wide open to all kinds of nonsense.
The problem is us, too. If someone says "I am 100% certain X will happen by this time" and nothing happens, they should never be trusted again.
I'm sure those of us who are a bit crazy and hooked on hopium will hit rock bottom by the end of the day and come back to reality, myself included.
