This has a lot of cred in my opinion... the first thing any criminal enterprise does after completing a crime is "clean up loose ends"... there's never enough spoils to make all the co-perpetrators happy.
It looks like some of them are still brainwashed and really believe in the cause or just found a new found passion for breaking shit. Not many of them but Portland, they are still riled up.
