This post is not intended to be doomer, but I am still working through some thoughts.

The reality is that we do not have "two parties" - we have a uni-party, and they put different letters after their names so they can pretend to be "fighting for (fill in the blank).

Whenever people are surveyed on "big issues", there is a general agreement amongst the majority of people, but somehow, these issues get inflated into "wedge issues" requiring everyone to "dig deep into your pockets, and send us $$$ so we can FIGHT for you".

Most of us are aware of the money laundering that happens with "political donations" and how they are used to enrich the inner circles of power. Most of us know "million dollar book deals" and "speaking engagements" aren't about the value the individual brings, but more about the protection that is purchased, or the pay-offs that are barely disguised. We are all aware that "foreign aid" is really one of the biggest grifting operations in history, with our tax dollars going to make the uber rich families even richer.

We know that election fraud has been institutionalized; it isn't even a discussion - it is simply a factual thing. It can be done overtly (manipulate quantity of polling stations), covertly (where the dead arise from their graves to cast their ballots), and now over the internet with just a small cadre of programmers and analysts.

As a reasonable adult, I find it plausible that foreign countries and criminal cartels would use the carrot and stick approach to control our "leaders" - offer perks and bribes, then threats of violence and public exposure - in ways that benefit them, as opposed to the American people. Candidly, we know that people cannot rise in the ranks of the parties unless they can influence others, and part of that influence involves being able to be CONTROLLED.

War is profitable for many. Human trafficking is profitable for many. Illegal drug smuggling is profitable for many. Prisons are profitable for many.

We have had many illusions ripped away in the last few months - for those of us who trusted in our local governments (I live in Michigan), we saw our legislatures use the "well, the secretary of state says everything was good" who used "well, the people at the local level said everything was good" and suddenly, Michigan ignored half a million voting issues, all documented in reports by subject matter experts and witness testimony ... but what could they do? (hands thrown up in feigned helplessness and a self righteous "will of the people" chant)

See "carrots and sticks" - they are not working for us.

So, as I turn these thoughts over and over in my mind, rather obsessively, I keep coming back to "what can normal, law abiding citizens do?" The courts ignore evidence and laws. The legislatures do the same. Social media has made "free speech" a mockery.

Our country is being destroyed, which makes sense if you are a foreign country and want to take advantage of a created opportunity without spending money on military conquest - buying politicians is cheaper. Plus, they can influence their downline, and thus, we are controlled.

I think the Romans use to do this when they conquered other countries - come in, pick a local leader, and make sure all orders go through him. If the local guy wasn't effective, they picked another. It didn't matter, as long as Rome collected their tribute.

Which brings me back to this - if the most powerful man in the world (and make no mistake, that is what the President of the United States actually is) cannot get one single person who participated in this type of crime held accountable, what can the rest of us do?

I still don't have answers, but this is what I'm chewing on.

Step 1: Identify the problem. I can't fix this, because I am one person who isn't important to anyone but my family and I am vulnerable to attack from those who are not law abiding.

Step 2: Figure it out.

I trust President Trump. If he can't solve it, I don't know what the rest of us will do, but I'm sure we will come up with something.

I just don't know what that is yet, and thus the hamster wheel of my mind keeps turning...

Unbending will. Speak the truth, stand for what you know to be right and don't back down.

If you don't go to the gym or have discipline in your life, begin today.

The only option is one we're not allowed to discuss.

You know it.

I know it.

The glowies here know it.

If we dont act soon, we'll never have the opportunity for that plan of action again. The country is lost.

I don't think it will happen. We will all bitch and complain about Biden for the next 4 years, then elect some RINO. The cycle continues. If anything we can take freedom into our own hands, get off the grid as much as possible to limit the government interference as much as possible.

nakedjay 8 points ago +8 / -0

They will allow the RINO to be elected to give the illusion that there is some form of democracy. "Look, the other side won an election!"

You’re right. That’s why we are seeing the show of force in DC. They know it and we know it.

State legislatures. They can pass election reform, and they can ensure this never happens again.

Old_Timer [S] 11 points ago +11 / -0

We already have laws in place in Michigan to prevent what happened. They were not enforced.

3
nakedjay 3 points ago +3 / -0

We might see this in PA and AZ, but the other swing states are probably a no go. We've seen how corrupt the RINO's in GA are.

Just continue speaking the truth and call out all the lies and dont give up on your principles

A wise quote from my favorite show ATLA applies here: The true mind can whether all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginingless time darkness thrives in the void but always yeilds to purifying light.

We need to lock elections down tight.

Absentee voting should be with a doctor’s note only. Those and military ballots much be received before Election Day. No more of this postmarked bullshit. Vote in person with government photo id on election day for everyone else. No further exceptions. Voter rolls should be purged once a year. You can get your car inspected once a year, you can reregister to vote too.

Well written Fren and the same things are going through my head as well. We were failed by many at local, state, and national levels. The saying about evil prevails when good men stand by rings true. We had faith in the local precincts and they were corrupt. We had faith in the local judges and they punted. We had faith in the state courts and they refused to get involved. We then turned hope to state legislators and they also washed their hands of the matter. We turned to the supreme court and they wouldn't hear us. Lastly the entire congress and the vice president would not be the ones to adress our concerns. Now we are left to deal with a system that we have no faith in. There's no silver bullet theres no easy way. We all have much hard thought to do.

Except he's only the most powerful man in the world if the rest of the branches of government are together with him. We have checks and balances for a reason, but they're all corrupted. Without them he can't do much.

APPLY TO WORK IN YOUR COUNTY AS AN OFFICIAL. DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET THESE PEOPLE OUT OF POWER POSITIONS.

I keep telling people to read Gene Sharp’s books. Not all of what he wrote applies to the current situation, but people need to get smarter about how political, social, and economic systems work in reality.

deathbymonty 1 point ago +1 / -0

What is a good one to start with?

1
RedditIsCommunist 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don’t know for sure. This is the abbreviated version of his other work https://archive.org/details/2013HowNonviolentStruggleWorksGeneSharp but I don’t know if it addresses more complex issues.

I don’t know enough about this stuff myself really, I only recently started reading about it. But Gene Sharp was a political scientist, not a hippy making up feel good stuff. So it should be taken seriously in terms of how real systems operate.

On the election front, rural conservative counties must withhold vote counts until all counties report in. We know the cheat. We know they delay counting so they can make up votes. There are two important components to this. Info and time. You need info on how many votes you need, who has or hasn't voted (also need dirty voter roles so you have spare registered voters to defraud), and some other info to make it less suspicious. Then you need time to make the fraudulent ballots out. If conservative areas withhold vote counts it takes their info and time. The large cities will inevitably ask what is taking so long, which will put a spotlight on why they take so long. And they will not be able to wrap up their fraud until they know they won. All you have to do is withhold the results in a bunch of conservative areas.

Excellent idea.

Curlybill 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'll add one red counties should litigate against blue well before elections if any of their voters are on blue rolls

1
BaldyGull 1 point ago +1 / -0

Some had and the courts ruled that there was no injury since the election hadn't been defrauded yet.

I trust President Trump. If he can't solve it, I don't know what the rest of us will do, but I'm sure we will come up with something.

Trump attacked a corrupt system in his particular way, but like any organic system, it reorganized its defenses to parry. I think this leaves it vulnerable to attack from other directions/techniques. Trump made the initial assault, and the media is in disarray (no credibility, clearly highly partisan) and will never regain its previous authoritative position. It also united many patriots (even former democrats) under one banner.

Get involved in local politics. Go to rallies, meet candidates in person, support the ones you trust. If you're able, become a candidate yourself.

All you can do as an individual is make a difference in your immediate area. As a collective, we can take the system back from the bottom up.

1
Old_Timer [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

Yawn. I don’t believe you. Play the game the same way, and get the same results.

The ones who get to power are corrupt. If you aren’t corrupt, you won’t get to power. If you expose corruption, you will be removed.

Trying to swim in a swamp won’t drain it.

It's more effective than sitting on the sidelines, bitching.

The Qtard "trust the plan!" shit obviously hasn't panned out. If you wanna come down on that nonsense, fine, but don't act like "Don't give up! Let's try a different approach" is some pie-in-the-sky hopium bullshit. That is the true definition of "doomer". If that's you, kindly self-deport.

He was the powerful man in the world. He had 35k soldiers on the ground in DC who would have followed his every order!

He wasn't the hero we needed!

The Don wasn't this ruthless machiavallian type that'll chop heads off. He's just a regular guy.

More patriots need to step forward for election at all levels of government. We need to apply massive pressure on the swamp creatures and watch every move. We need to move away from all platforms which censor and surveil us. We need to exercise the massive power of our combined wallet to sway companies to produce patriotic ads and to fire WOKE employees. We need to do this day after day for years and wear them down. It can all be done without spilling blood.
