I'm assuming celebrating the 4th of July will be in poor taste now that the republic is over. Same with Memorial day remembrances?

We can always create new holidays, just like we can create a new nation.
I’ll celebrate them. If anything in remembrance to what was once the greatest nation on Earth. One that no longer exists.
Do not destroy your own culture.
Leave that to others.
Revive tradition, don't throw it out.
