Let's look at this rationally. Qanon didn't make anyone complacent, most of those people were high energy and dedicated hence seeing a see of Q shirts at rallies etc.. Also, remember all the people who cannot stand the Q stuff, nothing they did worked any better and that is because this is all outside of our control.
