I always liked Pence and still do, because I think he truly believes he did not have the authority or ability to stop the certification. That said, I DO think he should have tried, but I won't trash him for making the call he did. Even if he tried, the 10-day delay would not have been enough time for the audits and investigations that are required.
I am really interested in hearing what Trump and Pence have to say about each other in the coming months. Pence has been a MAGA and Trump defender, but it it was his job to be. Also, I am going to miss the Johnny Quest memes featuring Pence and Barron.
