I too think he was sold out big time by Kushner and Ivanka, almost everybody around him was a back stabber but he was aware of them. I think strategically Trump reached out Israel and moved the embassy to Jerusalem and his first foreign trip I think was Saudi Arabia.
I think some of the foreign leaders in Israel and Saudi Arabia that he thought were on his side, the coalition he built starting his admin double crossed him.
He was crossed by countries and his own family (Jared and Ivanka) I believe. That's my feeling, just gut feeling.
