Being that I went to an Irish Catholic High School from 1999-2003 that used to make us do reports on how the terrorist IRA were hero’s and everything they do is justified against the English I see why Sargon aka Carl Benjamin on his Lotus Eaters podcast is shocked that Biden is trying to bring back ‘the troubled times’ in the United Kingdom.
Imagine being forced in school to watch movies like ‘In the name of the Father’ and write about how the IRA tried to save the world from English oppression and it the reports had to be in praise of the IRA. It was all propaganda
As a protestant I say, come out ye black and tans, come out and fight the irish like a man. I still want the protestants of Northern Ireland to have their rights but I want Northern Ireland to be handed over to actual Ireland. Northern Ireland is the last great colonial holding of the British and if there is one thing I hate as a person who is a descendant of people who were colonized for nearly 700 year is colonialism. The bloodshed needs to end tho. It will only stiffen the resistance against the IRA in Northern Ireland and cause the British to tighten it's hold on them.
