Ultimately the ideology that controls these information management institutions, primarily the mainstream media, social media and academia, is who is truly in charge.
The left realized this way back in the 1930s, when the Italian communist Antontio Gramsci's writing created the "long march through the institutions" strategy that the left has followed since then. By the 1960s they had already thoroughly infiltrated most university humanity departments, especially things like journalism and social sciences. The young people who became indoctrinated in the journalism departments of universities then went to become the leaders of CNN, MSNBC, NBC, NYT...etc. The same universities created the ideology that dominates big tech companies like Google. This march through the institutions has been an overwhelming success.
Creating alternative institutions that attract the young and bright people who will be the future leaders is the only way we get out of this mess.

I was overjoyed when he won in 2016, but by 2018 it was clear to me that we wouldn't get fundamental change despite having such a different president in the head position. At first I thought it was just the deep state (and it is partially), the system of control is much more expansive. The best description of power in my view comes out of the nRX movement that rose during Obama's term, and I've noticed that some of their lexicon has started to move out of their circles and into much more mainstream sources. For example "The Cathedral" has slowly started to enter more mainstream blogs, I think as we move post-Trump a lot of dissatisfied right wingers will need to rethink the path going forward. Its clear that the classical liberal views of formalized power and voting simply aren't going to work and will only lead to more and more disempowerment for the right.
I do hope, though that we can influence via financial means ... refuse their services, and find out who their sponsors are, and use their own cancel culture against them.... we have well over 70 million people .... if we all started calling their sponsor and telling them we were boycotting, it would get their attention quickly.
That's how the left can do some of what they do... they are organized, because they are willing to give up individuality for lockstep control ... we need to be willing to, at least, threaten to fight the same way.

Even if we had a handful of based CEOs, and even if somebody managed a 40 year plan to subvert a company as expansive as Google and become its CEO, they would still be beholden to shareholders and other special interests.
I do agree that our first and foremost priority right now is to regroup, develop new skills, and start to get some kind of foundational infrastructure in place, but after that, then what? We still are short in education and a much needed spiritual and religious awakening.

There are no doubt 100s of thousands of based zoomers and millennials that are climbing corporate ladders and being put into position to potentially shift the culture war, but they will continue to face the same resistance Trump did. Even if we had a handful of based CEOs, and even if somebody managed a 40 year plan to subvert a company as expansive as Google and become its CEO, they would still be beholden to shareholders and other special interests.
I do agree that our first and foremost priority right now is to regroup, develop new skills, and start to get some kind of foundational infrastructure in place, but after that, then what? We still are short in education and a much needed spiritual and religious awakening.

It has shaken many people to their core to realise that their understanding of the democratic systems that they thought underpinned their nation (i.e. free and fair elections, the EC, how it all comes together) was deeply flawed. I don't think very many people outside of hardcore conspiracists really thought the processes could have been so deeply compromised, let alone so openly carried out without consequence.
At the end of the day, the processes that are in place have secured Biden as POTUS. Thus, we respect that position. Not the individual. We do not ignore Fatboy Kim as the leader of North Korea because they have sham elections, so we don't ignore Dribbly Joe as the recognised POTUS.
I still firmly believe that, other than Trump, the US has effectively been a dictatorship (maybe a corporatocracy) since at least Bush Senior, and many of the supposed checks and balances that were meant to prevent it merely acted as show. It certainly seems that there are or have been a secret police in action, and the left certainly feel emboldened to call for pogroms and retaliation.
We all know how the MSM carried water for Obama and then tried to blame Trump for Obama's failings. The Federal Reserve even printed infinite money for free in order to recover from the 2008 housing collapse, but that consideration was never going to be extended to Trump (and that's kind of a good thing, as it meant an adult businessman was able to actually use good business sense and go about fixing things).
So many things happened where I wondered why there was not consequence. Clapper lying to Congress; AG's involved in gun running to cartels (gee, where has that failed terribly before), only to then have those weapons used in the Bataclan massacre in Paris; The Justice Department used to manipulate outcomes of events because of optics or friends (who exactly reached down from on high to kill off the Grand Jury that was looking into Lance Armstrong in the years before things REALLY blew up on him?).
If this was any other nation, there would be complaints being made about dictatorial behaviour, and the injustice of Lese Majeste laws that seem to be in force (well, at least the media seem to be following some Lese Majeste for the Dims).
At the end of the day, Biden is the designated POTUS, and thus is due the level of recognition / respect for that position. We can ensure that how it was stolen is never forgotten and never forgive the individual for it. America as a nation is going to survive. The people are going to survive. The political class and the divisive behaviour of mouth breathing idiots might need to be scoured for healing to actually take place (and not what they say).
