But the whole game of fighting over who is in charge of the formal role of president ignores the real issue: the real power that rules our country is held in the information management institutions that create the cultural consensus (ie. the overton window). Any president, whether Trump or Biden, will have to operate entirely within this overton window set by the left. Ultimately the ideology that controls these information management institutions, primarily the mainstream media, social media and academia, is who is truly in charge.
The left realized this way back in the 1930s, when the Italian communist Antontio Gramsci's writing created the "long march through the institutions" strategy that the left has followed since then. By the 1960s they had already thoroughly infiltrated most university humanity departments, especially things like journalism and social sciences. The young people who became indoctrinated in the journalism departments of universities then went to become the leaders of CNN, MSNBC, NBC, NYT...etc. The same universities created the ideology that dominates big tech companies like Google. This march through the institutions has been an overwhelming success.
Creating alternative institutions that attract the young and bright people who will be the future leaders is the only way we get out of this mess.
I can maybe write up a post on the power structure within the modern West. I used to post a lot in 2015-2016 on Plebbit when the_donald was still there, was one of the top posters there. Also did a lot of redpilling on /r/worldnews and other defaults before the purge and total lockdown of dissent.
My views on power, how it is hidden and how it is wielded have evolved a lot since Trump was elected. I was overjoyed when he won in 2016, but by 2018 it was clear to me that we wouldn't get fundamental change despite having such a different president in the head position. It seemed that every step of the way it was like there was some invisible force pushing us towards the left. At first I thought it was just the deep state (and it is partially), the system of control is much more expansive. The best description of power in my view comes out of the nRX movement that rose during Obama's term, and I've noticed that some of their lexicon has started to move out of their circles and into much more mainstream sources. For example "The Cathedral" has slowly started to enter more mainstream blogs, I think as we move post-Trump a lot of dissatisfied right wingers will need to rethink the path going forward. Its clear that the classical liberal views of formalized power and voting simply aren't going to work and will only lead to more and more disempowerment for the right.
I do hope, though that we can influence via financial means ... refuse their services, and find out who their sponsors are, and use their own cancel culture against them.... we have well over 70 million people .... if we all started calling their sponsor and telling them we were boycotting, it would get their attention quickly.
That's how the left can do some of what they do... they are organized, because they are willing to give up individuality for lockstep control ... we need to be willing to, at least, threaten to fight the same way.
To me, the way we self-destruct the control over culture system and thus ideas is to actually become extremist DINOs and push to have more and more content censored, especially keystone / touchstone content important to liberal boomers. If we can successfully push to have content that matters to liberals censored as non-conformist and non-inclusive, we will force their identity ideology to change as they cannot access their staples and thus react conservatively. It's why Biden is such a good image for the left as he's seemingly old and just conservative enough even though behind him is the full Marxist culture control machine. If we expose it and feed it more and more gasoline to censor more and more people, platforms, and historical cultural favorites it will overheat and reach a point where it fizzles out and backfires.
I respected President Trump by not watching a second of the two moron figureheads taking an oath for offices they illegally stole. The only time I plan on watching these two criminals ever again is if they're being led to the gallows. Otherwise, the history of U.S. Presidents ends at #45.
As soon as i hear anything political from a streamer I just bounce, from Cyr, to lirik, to any one of them trying to humiliate anyone who doesn't think like them I just instantly stop watching. I can't tolerate brainwashed people anymore or any sort of political talk, they are just useful tools for propaganda.
While that is true, there is no real way to create alternative institutions anymore. Now that they have moved to classify conservatives as terrorists and the incoming administration is aiming to revoke the equal protections clause for banks (meaning they will be allowed to refuse loans based on politics), what recourse do we have?
The obvious problem with the Trump administration is that he is 1 guy and we had no supporting infrastructure in place for him because the previous 30 years of administrations were corrupt and entrenched. Now we have the idea of where we need to improve and we have the clean slate of a new generation to mold, but we have lost the institutions and means to train them. There are no doubt 100s of thousands of based zoomers and millennials that are climbing corporate ladders and being put into position to potentially shift the culture war, but they will continue to face the same resistance Trump did. Even if we had a handful of based CEOs, and even if somebody managed a 40 year plan to subvert a company as expansive as Google and become its CEO, they would still be beholden to shareholders and other special interests.
I do agree that our first and foremost priority right now is to regroup, develop new skills, and start to get some kind of foundational infrastructure in place, but after that, then what? We still are short in education and a much needed spiritual and religious awakening.
I agree, we need to regroup and create a plan. We’re not even in the fight. We need to start electing true republicans who support trump. We need to get conservatives into schools so they stop corrupting the children. We need to stop putting our money into companies what ban us and Chinese products. Boycott Hollywood. We need to make a stand and fight. We have to be serious and we need to do it together. While I’m off social media, there are still so so so many republicans still on it. We need to do better or they’re just going to keep walking over us.
We need to elect fanatical nationalists who don’t care about optics, and are willing to forcibly remove the communists from positions of power. A governor could do that.
The basic thing we can do now is to get behind Trump as he builds another party, America First. We can take the WH in '24 with Trump leading the way and serious and tough watchers at polling places. If Trump is in, it will be a dogfight and if something like 11/3/20 happens again this country will explode. If Trump is successful it will be the death of the GOP and I say good riddance. I no longer agree with trying to work within the GOP. We have to keep this half of the uniparty out of the WH to have a chance at reform and reestablish the constitution.
