I have zero faith in our government at the moment and I don't claim to have any control over it. But I can control myself, my family, and my local community. The government only has power if people believe it does and are willing to enforce it.
For example a Federal mask mandate doesn't matter if I have a good relationship with my local police and they aren't willing to enforce it.
Gotta start with what I can control and go from there. But just pouting about it won't help anything.
