Let's replace it with the USS Liberty. Covering up an unprovoked attack on a ship of ours by Israel that was designed to draw us into war on their side. The only problem with their plan was that some people survived to tell the truth.

How about driving herds of buffalo off cliffs to starve the Indians of their food source. Not myth

As a minimum the US government had to stand down and let it happen. There was some clear fuck shit going on with the military running a hijacked plane drill at the same time.

Assange said Google isn’t what it seems back when he was still free, anyone listened?

Google started out with the Motto: "Don't Be Evil" probably because of realizing the potential of what they had created. Then comes along Evil, takes over google, keeps the motto, is now a global super power of their own. But yeah - Don't be evil.

They were never terrorist tools. You don't need a domestic spying apparatus to spy on muslims in caves in Afghanistan.

These spying tools were always meant to protect the government from the people and for no other purpose.

And Trump pardoned neither Assange nor Snowden.

Now you know how deep the swamp really goes.

MAGASpaceCat 2 points ago +3 / -1

Trump was threatened by Democrats and deep state republicucks (McConnell) not to pardon Assange and Snowden and he obeyed, because he didn't want to get impeached in the senate.

The surveillance state barely stopped any terrorism, it was used against the American people. Why would it be any different this time?

Now enjoy your no-fly list you terrorist, shouldn't have surrendered your freedoms.

And Trump wouldnt pardon him or assange. Instead anti-trump gang members got pardons. Hmmmm. When you look at Trump's last few months if office, he betrayed the movement. Invited everyone to DC on the 6th then threw them all under the bus.

You see george bush. You see him sitting with Obama against trump,. You see mit romey, you see mit romney sitting along side the people he was supposed to be against? Think on this. In 5 years trump may very well be sitting at the same table as oboma. It's a big club...and we ain't in it. The deep State does not care about this election. Their main goal is covid passports with mandatory vaccine. We must resist

It wasn't that they would, it is that they were & still do. They were using their spy tools against the whole world as well.

"Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism." is what USA PATRIOT ACT stands for. We are now entering Patriot Act ver 2.0 territory. Unwarranted spying on all American citizens under the guise of "Well we gotta protect you from the domestic terrorist."

Ninki333 3 points ago +3 / -0

It was being said well before Snowden was even employed by the NSA.

2
gustodog 2 points ago +2 / -0

That was always the purpose of them. The "war against terror" was a pretext for creating counter-insurgence infrastracture because they know that true Americans won't kneel for their occupiers.

"The terrorist tools were for oppressing the American people?"

"Always have been."

1
derek20la 1 point ago +1 / -0

As did Chalmers Johnson, in his book Nemesis. Outlining how all the extraordinary abuses the then new war on terror brought would eventually be turned inwards to the American people.

All you had to do was look back at history, to the Third Reich. This has all gone on before. The Fascists are in control again, and it won't be a pretty ending.

And yet this prick still hated Trump. Fuck this guy.
