I wish Q had been right. It would have been really great to sit on my couch and watch the wicked get smited. We now find ourselves in the same boat as the rest of mankind, for the entirety of human history: We have a corrupt ruling class that hate us, fear us and seek to oppress us. For decades, Americans have been under the impression that their ruling class - and only their ruling class - were incorruptible. We were under the impression that anybody could join them, so long as they got elected. It turns out that not only were our politicians as corrupt as everyone else, but we haven't done a thing to clean up corruption in decades. Now, like with the California wild fires, it's gotten *bad*. America is not the first country to become overwhelmed by corruption. We aren't the first country to have a single ruling party. We aren't even the first country to have rigged elections. There are plenty of countries that have dug themselves out of it: Brazil and India being the two most recent. It's time to do what they have done, and get to cleaning things up. It's going to take more than memes and boomer rallies. You are going to have to get involved. You have a duty to get involved. We got this far with a hotel magnate and a cartoon frog. Now its time to go farther. Be grateful for the opportunity to do great things.
