I'm not an astute political analyst by any stretch, but here's some takeaways from that last few months and years.
Observations:
-
The GOP was never fully united behind Trump and this is why we ultimately lost. Mitch the Bitch, Paul Ryan, Romney, and numerous others have been the ultimate reason why Trump didn't make more progress. If the GOP had been more united behind GEOTUS then at mid-terms we likely would have held more house seats or even a majority. Most of the BS "scandals" would not have been fueled as much if the MSN couldn't point to a traitor and say "Look, even some of the GOP agrees."
-
The DNC did exactly as we expected them to and we should not be surprised by this. We knew they would cheat, we knew they would lie, we knew they would push Peach Mints out. We knew they had bought and paid for courts and local municipalities with Chinese and Soros's money. This isn't to excuse this. We should call them on their crap all of the time and make spicy AF memes about it. Just don't get surprised at a snake when it bites you.
-
Based on the DNC and GOP's behaviors this election, you should no longer doubt the existence of the Uniparty. There may be good members here and there, but as a system we only have one party loyal to their power and money only.
-
Big Tech, MSN, and China are the big enemies we really need to worry about. Let's be real, the DNC and GOP march to their drums (regardless of how many sternly written letters were sent or how many sternly worded hearings held). If we want to slap our politicians awake then we have to remove the cultural influence that Big Tech and MSN has over our lives. We have to remove economic power from China.
-
Despite all of this, Trump went in there and fucked them up. Seriously. How many people were redpilled over the last 4 years? I know I was. I was skeptical as hell of Trump at the start of 2015 when he ran, despite not liking Killary. When he won a small part of me still was skeptical, but had a thought that I hoped he shook shit up. My God, did he ever. He ripped the veil of BS down around politicians. We have been able to see the lies of MSN for the first time. We realize that our politicians are once again crooks. Trump also gave people some good years with the best economic and jobs growth that we saw the entire decade. The Dems fucked up by being the ones to take it away.
Lessons learned:
-
We really, really, really need more MAGA politicians and civil servants. Seriously. At all levels. We have to flood the gates. Run for everything. School boards, City Councils, Mayors, Sheriffs, reps, judges (big one), anything. If you work in government for some reason, start trying to shift things in our favor. I know conservatives are less likely to be in government jobs, but...
-
MAGA is not and should not be just a conservative movement. To be fair, many conservatives liked Trump and the MAGA movement, but many moderates and classic liberals liked it too. Hence why the Walk Away movement happened. Hence why Trump had some of the best black vote percentage of any GOP candidate in a long time. MAGA needs to be more than just GOP talking points.
-
We must truly build our own platforms. I know this point has been beaten home lately, but we need to work on a ground up approach to social media and engagement. We've got to ditch Google, Paypal, Amazon, etc. Nothing should be connected to another company that can ditch you if the Twitter mobs come after you. It will be hard, for sure, but also a huge opportunity for anyone able to overcome the entry costs.
-
MAGA isn't done. Trump isn't done. I feel he is going to be the new king maker among the GOP. Despite Bitch McConnel's desires, Trump will continue to be the person that people fight to earn and endorsement from. If Trump says, vote this guy, he's MAGA, he will probably win it.
