There were trump supporters there no doubt. I watched various streams all day and watched things unfold from 9 am til after they were inside the capital. Police basically let them through and they definitely opened up the doors to let them in to take selfies and walk around. You think some zip ties if true were going to subdue capital police? I think it was more nuanced and organic than a planned sacking of a capital, cause they'd be armed and bodies on top of bodies on both sides would be littered and blood still being mopped up today if that were the plan.
I think it was a case of holy shit we're actually here let's fucking get inside and make a statement to congress about who they represent. There was a crazy knife lady at the door yelling and screaming and people were like shut up you crazy bitch thats not what we're here to do. Also supporters talking to police and telling them they mean no harm.

And you're right that supporters here were very angry and ready to go all out. Everyday there are calls on social media for the death of conservatives and Trump's family and especially on reddit, yet because you found some aggressive language on here it means we're terrorists, right?
