It brought him another voting demographic. Great Awakening people have been around and were largely A-political, some conservative, some leftists(real socialists). You know all those healing crystal boomers on youtube? That is the demographic it brought him. Hippie moms, shit like that. It probably brought more people in than it turned off.

Until Jan 6th, Trump was always enormously apprehensive of going after anyone who supported him under any circumstances, even when they probably deserved a spanking. Q people believed they were fighting Trump's fight, and Trump has never been one to discourage people from fighting for him for any reason (until Jan 6th).
