Right now I live in a blue area of pa. I'm looking to try and move to western pa and try to begin my career in the trades and am looking to find out what are good places to start /avoid. Part of the reason I'm moving is the level of covid bullshit where I am. Also note this is a temporary stepping stone to eventually moving out of state so buying a house is a no go.
So yeah if any of you know what places are good or bad it would be a big help <3.

Outside burbs of Pittsburgh are not horrific.
Cranberry Township - growing - decent people... low crime - and you can find some farm houses with some acreage still at 300K if you can fix them up...
Thank you for the info:) but as I said we cant buy right now as it's a stepping stone and plan to leave pa within the next few years. But I will look at it for rentals :)
Alot of building permits pulled there too...
If you have any contacts in that area - that would be a great question to start with.

Please let me know if you find any good areas! I’m in a blue area of pa as well, and am also moving (though I’ll be buying a house.) I’m starting with looking at 2020 election results maps and exploring the most red areas since it’s probably safe to assume those areas weren’t involved in the fraud and will do their best to uphold our rights.
Cant get the vaccine for medical reasons.
