Let me tell you a tale told to me by a neighbor who went through all of this in his own life. And you can already see the parallels with what we are seeing here.

Once China was at a shatterpoint. The communists and the nationalists were already engaged in a bitter war. But the communists had help from a foreign country in the Soviet Union hellbent on spreading their filth into this influential country (what China is now doing to us). The nationalist allies stayed silent (Just like the GOP, UK, etc are staying silent). After steady defeats by unfair tactics, the Nationalists had one last gasp before the final defeat and exile (like our Capitol rush). But the nationalists were defeated internally by ineffective subordinates (aka McConnell and the limp dicks). Those who could, fled to the true China aka Taiwan, or were welcomed as actual political refugees, aka not economic migrants, by the United States. These were the only Chinese with values, morals, and manners.

The pseudo-intellectuals, media blowhards, peasants, cowards, sycophants, anarchists, and unsophisticated youth sheep all celebrated the new Communist regime and became enthralled with all the empty promises (like they do now). The plans were given glorious names like Great Leap Forward (as they are being done now by the Democrats to fool the idiotic sheep). Then the censorship of opposing views came (like what's starting now with Twitter, FB, etc). The pseudo-intellectuals, media blowhards, peasants, cowards, sycophants, anarchists, and unsophisticated youth sheep fully endorsed all of it because they were too weak to defend their points against legitimate criticism and they bought into it without understanding what was happening. Every detail was changed and the leftists were emboldened by their new powers. Freedoms of the enemy were revoked (as they are beginning to be done now with free speech and "quarantine"). The enemy's positions were slandered with fake news and distortion. Public executions of the rich and defiant, forced removal of land, and re-education camps were established. Peter was being robbed to pay Paul. And Paul believed he was the new Master, when he wasn't. (Just like what the Dems are doing with welfare, BLM, and taxes).

Then came the Cultural Revolution. First it started with the destruction of cherished history and stories of morals (which has been happening since Obama like the destruction of Confederate history and the black-washing of pop culture). The pseudo-intellectuals, media blowhards, peasants, cowards, sycophants, anarchists, and unsophisticated youth sheep celebrated this (as they do now). But then the fattened Communist Party, rich with wealth and undeserved power-mad authority, turned on its followers. Liberal principles clashed with their rise to power and thus had to be put down. Those pseudo-intellectuals, media blowhards, peasants, cowards, sycophants, anarchists, and unsophisticated youth sheep suddenly found themselves sent to the same camps and prisons once reserved for their enemies for arbitrary and superficial reasons. Anyone who wasn't in the upper crust or anyone who was stepped over on the path to power were executed or "re-educated". Everyone was worked to death for the glory and wealth of the Communist Party leaders. The corruption that the Party claimed to be defeating was actually exponentially multiplied. The country's wealth stagnated while the wealth in the Party soared. An epidemic was sent out to continue to solidify the Party's power (aka like Covid-19). What followed was famine, unchecked criminal violence, and death. The poor suddenly became poorer as the govt came into their houses to take more. The Old ruling elite was replaced by a much harsher ruling elite who used chaos and poverty to cement their power. Everything that made China great (its history, its love of family, its friendliness towards others, its belief in philosophical integrity) was now irreparably gone.

My neighbor was an ROC officer who fought alongside the US in WWII. He received citizenship LEGALLY with the support of US soldiers he fought with in the States. Every day he is sad at what happened to his country and the many lives lost. That's why he voted Trump and why he fears what will become to this great country. He's seeing the things that happened before happen again with the left. Those who ignore or erase history are doomed to repeat it. Let this lesson sink in. We must fight back or everything good about America will be lost forever.
