Obama never did produce a true copy of his birth certificate.

The birth certificate uploaded to WhiteHouse dot gov was immediately determined to be a forgery based in part to layers that were discovered in the PDF.

None of this says that Obama wasn't born in America; he just didn't prove it. You have to prove your identity for a job.
