Whatsapp and viber are the 2 predominant forms of communication in europe and other parts of the world. Signal is best as far as privacy goes but is almost unheard of to people.
I saw a photo somewhere here that signal is a cia honeypot as well. Like where the fuck can we go to chat without the government fucking watching everything
There are ways to export your contact list as a .csv file, and edit it in a spreadsheet app, like Excel, or OpenOffice if you don't own that. Edit, then re-import. Each app and OS is different, but Duck Duck Go can link you to tutorials. I had to merge two contact lists once, and doing it as a spreadsheet was much easier.
It was also a good way to see missing fields while working on it, and filling in the blanks.
Nice. I deleted WhatsApp and Book of Faces today.
I also trimmed the contact list in my phone significantly.
Deleted facebook probably 8 years ago.
Never missed it.

Yes indeed, and I do business with Europeans so this will be an actual sacrifice.
I have a group chat with people from around the world that talks about subjects like we have here on TDW. That whole group has migrated to Signal.
I'll always keep whatsapp. Not that it matters but my sim card isnt even tied to my name etc. You can buy an activated one from a kiosk for $5
I am an European and people here are switching from whatsupp to signal like crazy. Never used viber.

Your living room, you neighbors back yard, the green dragon tavern and some churches. If its electronic its never private.
One by one, and it did take awhile. Some of the deletions were more enjoyable than others.
It's actually quite liberating.

What the everliving flying fuck took you so long? What is wrong with you people? Is everyone that god damned addicted to their glowing rectangles?
In my defense, I boycotted Google and a few other sites long ago. Those were the last 2. Never had a Twatter account.
