Don’t get me wrong, I’m a bit concerned about how the general public is anticipating it like the Second Coming (case in point: I know someone who was in a bad car accident in another city (and the car was totalled), but their primary concern was that they wouldn’t be able to get back home to get the booster). But I don’t quite understand why so many people on this site are so hostile to it.

Well it’s not a vaccine for starters, mRNA is genetic engineering and experimental in humans until now. Plus there is no liability for the pharmaceutical companies because of the “emergency” it contains all kinds of goodies such as HEK 293 cells that are from a cloned aborted fetus from 1970.
