You can't go around shitposting "la revolution! la revolution!" with your local militias alone, Fed will stomp every last one of us. You have to first, take the political extreme of seceding from the Union. Not really that extreme of a concept anymore when liberty is threatened.
Separate from the Union and by default, you take some of the Feds power away from it. You give soldiers from said state a reason, cause, and home to defend. Otherwise they will follow order until every last one of us are in detention camps.
