Not hubby and I. We are in exempt income level now. He still pays social security, but when he files for his in a few months we will be living on that. We transitioned as of January first.
It's hilarious since we now are low enough income to actually get discount and free shit if we wish since where we are that gravy train applies at 150% of federal poverty level and below.

They can get stuffed. The closest thing I ever got to any government shit was unemployment once decades ago, and tax credits when my kids were little.
Many people would call us stubborn or stupid, but hubby and I have no desire whatsoever to accept bribes. The feral government can kiss my wrinkled old ass at this point.
Worse comes to worst I will work off the books, though we are living comfortably. We are used to simple living.

I do all my work through contracts and as such I have to handle all my taxes myself, nothing is deducted and I have to pay out at the end of the year. I have begun to perform some creative financing to eliminate all my tax burden so that I owe 0.
I am not represented, therefore I will not be taxed on my income. Go fuck yourself, CCP.
