To the nay sayers: Biden's administration has been hyper focused on racial optics. They went out of their way to position black ceremonial soldiers on the way in, black speakers, etc. They are not color blind egalitarians. They actually think egalitarianism is bad since they want to discriminate against white people (see Cali).

They know many millions think Joe is compromised by China. People call him Beijing Biden. So having his personal detail just happen to be Han Chinese is calculated and purposeful.
