Unfortunately, I do live in one of the few blue counties. I'm a native Texan and have lived here my entire life. I boycott wearing a mask everywhere I possibly can. It is required where I work but I don't wear one. Believe me, I have been fighting as hard as I can. I have 3 young kids that I want to have a future in life. I pulled them out of school and started homeschooling due to mask mandates. I'm sorry for lashing back. I think I'm just stressed at the whole ordeal. I'm going to step away from the screen for the rest of the day, grab a beer, and go outside. I still hope there is a miracle somewhere about to reveal itself.

So... the reason the US has always had a two party system has to do with how we vote... the winner take all style of voting usually divides votes between the two candidates who are most similar and allow the fringe candidates an advantage.
Basically, the two party system is not going away, but we can change them internally by being more strategic.

Check our Woodrow Wilson’s election. Got more than 400 electoral votes. Percentage of voters? 41%. Because a 3rd party split the right who made up 50% of the vote. Thus the low votes made the winner. Wilson got 40 states, more than 400 electoral votes with only 41%.
Great. It’ll be a 3 party system. And...what will happen to our votes? They will suddenly allow a fair election, just because someone created a new party?
