Serj is a blowhard. He's all about Armenian rights, but doesn't live there. Wasn't even born there, he was born in Beruit.
I take him about as seriously as the singer of Rage Against The Machine, who rapped about "whitey", and rebellion, but cashed every check white corporations ever cut him.
When a musician opens their mouths about politics, it's 'whom whom whom", like the parents in Charlie Brown.
It's always been like that. I'm a fan of a lot of genres, including metal, but if I'm gonna be honest, most metal fans and musicians are just as moronic as anyone.
My favorite was Kirk from Metallica flashing a peace sign and saying "Vote Clinton/Gore" on some award show, after Gore's wife tried to shut bands like his down.
One of the few musicians who had something interesting to say (not agree with) about politics is Jello Biafra, but even he sadly got TDS. Which isn't surprising, but it made it impossible to listen to him for 4 years. Hopefully he'll be as cynical and critical of Biden as he was Obama and the Clintons.
I don't like him, but he's definitely more thoughtful than some. I remember watching a doc on the Armenian genocide that the band made around 2010. It was pretty decent. The worst part of the doc was having to watch video of them playing live.

Wait'll ya get a load of kamala!
System of A Down was fucking trash as fuck 30 years ago. They didn't get better.
Why is this faggot even talking? He needs to clock back into his part time shift at Target.
Surprisingly, their drummer's based.
Wonder if there is some tension between the two?
No idea. Wouldn't be surprised though.
Well at least serj has a beef with a trump policy. I can respect that. I can't deal with the orange mad bad people.

One of the lost overrated metal bands of the past 30 years
Barely metal. Radio friendly metal is more like it.
