Anyone else annoyed by the constant refrain of "the best is yet to come" during the darkest day in America's history? Just me?

Tomorrow I'll be ready to hop back on the bandwagon, but sometimes we need to take a minute to recognize the gravity of the moment. Not dooming, just saying that it's a serious occasion that shouldn't be glossed over.

When you are at the bottom, I guess good, better, and best are all you have to aim for...but yeah, I’m not singing any happy songs or spouting any happy slogans today.
