So you're a mod; does that then translate to your being able to decide what is "newsworthy" and what isn't? Is this a new TD rule? And if that's the case, how is this different than mainstream social media, which as you know also doesn't want people posting anything that they disagree with? If this is a new rule, you should really let people know.

I don't decide what is newsworthy, but I do decide whether something violates the rules.

"Forum sliding, consensus cracking, topic dilution" can be difficult to spot. What is considered topic dilution one day, might not be considered topic dilution the next.

As mods, we need to make these calls every day.

I'm being open and transparent with you in hopes that you might see things from my perspective.
