A little over a year ago, I had a perfect credit score. Since then, I got in a motorcycle accident and missed months of work recovering. Then, bullshit lockdowns hit and the restaurant industry was destroyed. As a server in a high-end restaurant in commie Philadelphia, I have been forced out of work for the rest of the year.

I see no end in sight for these lockdowns. My great income was destroyed along with the rest of the country around it. I want to do my part in being a patriot. While I'm forced to stay home, I will do my best to learn to code. My hope is that I can learn on my own and work for a free speech platform to make a real difference.

I know that no one probably cares. I just needed a place to vent my frustrations and I know that many of you agree with me.

Keep up the good fight!

Learn C# ( c-sharp) That is a Microsoft language. Best one for the job market

Download visual studio community - its free It is development software where you write code. Get it here: https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/vs/community/

Start here to learn: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gfkTfcpWqAY

Then we you can compete this course, learn Microsoft MVC. This is front end we development.

Then learn Web API .net core. Thats back end.

If you enjoy it, it is a great career.

Thanks for the advice! I had started working on c# a few years ago until life got in the way. This seems like my best chance to give it another shot.

I will start tomorrow morning

C# is meh. If you're interested at all in web stuff, consider open-source solutions like Python and frameworks like Flask.

I'll take a look. Python is the other language I was thinking about. I've heard that it's a little easier to learn and get a job with

Message me if you get stuck brother, it's pretty easy with a little guidance, and if you learn one language in the correct way then you know them all. All I do is code day and night in all languages.

Thank you! I'm tired of waiting for my governor to tell me when I can go back to work. I will start working on a coding language tomorrow!

At this point, it wouldn't take much convincing to get me to move to Texas. I have lived in Philadelphia for almost 20 years now. I loved the city enough that I could overlook all of its glaring problems. Now, my commie governor/ mayor have destroyed everything that made the city great. It's getting hard to justify staying here.

I feel you.

I moved from northeast PA to Texas a few months before Covid. Fuck Wolf, and Richard.
