I am sure that in light of the recent events of today, the last few weeks, and last few months that we are discouraged and wondering what is coming at us next and the republic as a whole. We are weary and things do look bleak. It truly would have been a much simpler thing, had the rule of law been even passively acknowledged. I however, and I suspect most of the rest of us are not giving up.
I have been giving it a lot of thought, and I do think that there is one thing that we can start on today that could help to put things back on a path consistent with constitutional principles and truly help to heal our nation. Many people have put a great deal of effort into the Convention of States project as part of a longer strategy. I have a great deal of respect for this approach and support it fully. I think that pushing our elected officials to support this effort with appropriate legislation is something that we should be doing. That said, it likely won’t come quickly.
The events of the 2020 election, at their core, did not originate as a federal problem or a state level problem. Many state and federal officials absolutely played a major part and share a great deal of culpability, but their were mostly engaged in inaction to act as if everything was fine and that the counts reported by the counties were legitimate, rather than perpetrating acts to originate the fraud themselves. As such, we have a county problem.
Thankfully, there is an amazing feature in the way our government is constructed: County sheriffs are almost always directly elected by the people and accountable to them.
When acting consistently with their oaths, your county sheriff can investigate criminal election fraud activity on the part of the county election officials that would report a count at the county level before it would even make it up to a higher level to be aggregated into a state level count.
It is my assertion that we need to fix our cities and our counties first if future elections have any hope of reflecting the will of the people and not just something that they shove down our throats. To do this, there needs to be a county by county audit and replacement of sheriffs that do not have the integrity to uphold their oaths.
This will require organization at the county by county level by the populations of each county to identify the status of their current sheriff, support those that are true to the oaths and exercise appropriate peaceful use of civic processes to replace those that are not true to their oaths with people of character. One we fix this, the dominoes can begin to fall upwards.
To do this effectively, we need organization, data management and leadership on a county by county level to help coordinate the efforts needed.
I have an extensive background in information technology, so am glad to help pitch in there as I can, but this will take the work of many putting in their small parts.
I would like to start a discussion with fellow patriots that just want non-partition rule of law to actually be a thing again and hopefully can bring something like this to fruition.
Your thoughts? I am interested in a legitimate discussion on how we might organize this.
If you think we are going to get anyone elected again, especially sheriffs, without first removing some of these people through other means, whether by getting them locked up or litterally running them out of town, you're deluding yourself.
Look what happened in Arizona which should have served as a warning to us all. Their most popular and most effective sherrifs were all replaced in the 2018 election.
